Meet Nicola Boss

Just like many of her female relatives, Nicola, 39, had large breasts. She had always felt uncomfortable with their size.

Working as a hairdresser, she was constantly on her feet, which meant that she often felt in pain because of her 36KK-sized breasts.

Although she looked into having a breast reduction carried out via the NHS, she felt that there were so many different criteria to meet that she would opt to have treatment with a private provider instead.

Nicola says, “I started to research private companies where I could have a breast reduction sooner rather than later. When I spoke to Transform and then met my surgeon, it was clear I’d found the right place. He’s amazing – so kind, caring and reassuring. I was confident that I was in safe hands.”

Nicola had been advised that recovery would take about 5 weeks, and following her surgery she was pleased to find that she wasn’t in any pain – just a little uncomfortable – for the first few days.

She recalls, “Once the swelling had gone down and I could see the results, I felt like crying. I had wanted this for so long, and they were perfect! I actually wanted to hug my surgeon, because I felt so grateful.

“When I went for my next check up, they measured me as 36FF/G. I was over the moon. I still had a great pair of boobs but they weren’t so big that I was in pain any more, and I could work standing up without constant backache.

“Having the surgery has changed the way I look at myself – it’s given my confidence such a boost. Before surgery, my clothes selection wasn’t very big as most retail stores don’t really cater for such large breasts. But now I have so many more clothes to choose from and I’m loving it!

“I get quite emotional talking about the whole experience. I can’t fault a thing and couldn’t have wished for anything more. It’s truly changed my life.”
